What is cryolipolysis?
Cryolipolysis is the newest partial body slimming treatment that reduces subcutaneous fat without damaging the skin by utilizing the fact that fat cells are more vulnerable to low temperatures than skin cells.
It can reduce subcutaneous fat without being noticed by others.
How cryolipolysis works
The surface skin is cooled and the fat under the skin is cooled to 4 to 5 degrees Celsius.
In this process, the skin is not damaged at all, but the fat cells are damaged.
When the cells die, there are two types: one type, called necrosis, which causes strong abnormal inflammation, and another type, called apoptosis, which causes little inflammation.
When treated with cryolipolysis, fat cells undergo apoptosis with little inflammation.
Fat is reduced through a natural inflammatory process that takes up to 2 to 6 months.
